Bob has been championing new generations of leaders for over 25 years. A highly respected name in the trans-Atlantic business development space, he especially enjoys working with individuals and organizations looking to make a mark in the US. In addition to his mentoring work, he is the founder of University Innovations, an international commercialization platform for universities.
Bob has been honored with appointments to the Smithsonian in Washington DC and is an Honorary Commercial Consul for the State of New Hampshire. He is a member of various European-American international advisory committees and speaks regularly at forums on international trade, investment, education and cultural issues. Scottish born and educated, he is a long time US resident. He featured in the book Global Scots – Voices from Afar, which profiles influential Scots on the international scene.
In the voluntary arena Bob mentors young people and has been widely recognized for his pioneering schools’ program ‘Local Heroes – Be All You Can Be’. He has worked with many not-for-profits in various capacities. The immediate Past President of NHSCOT, he is currently leading the development of their newly established Council of Advisers.
